Undoubtedly Wakefield's best place to eat. Yes it's pizza but the care and attention to flavour profiles and presentation is phenomenal. If you've ever heard of Rudy's pizza you'll know how good they are, well this place beats it and that is no small feat I assure you. The thought that has gone into each dish takes talent and these have it by the pizza load. The venue is welcoming, the staff are attentive and polite, the food is up there with the best! If you've not been don't hesitate get a table booked you will not be disappointed. Honestly, well done pizza yard, a true diamond, thank you for the experience and we will be back time and time again.

Absolutely incredible! Our first visit to Pizza Yard was on New Year’s Eve, and the food was so good we couldn’t wait to come back. Tonight’s Sunday 17.50 deal blew us away all over again—dish after dish landed on the table, each one as flawless as the last. The quality is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the value can’t be beaten. We’ve already booked another visit with the whole family, and we’ve been raving about Pizza Yard to anyone who’ll listen. Huge thanks and congratulations to the team for running such a fabulous little restaurant—we can’t wait to return!

Famiglia style dining!!!! This menu option is brilliant, so much food and such variation, arancini, steak, meatballs, pasta, pizza to name but a few, we definitely had enough! Every dish was scrumptious and at 25 person or only 17.50 on a Sunday and kids under 12 eat free it’s amazing value! Great for groups too no worrying about working out who had what and how much they owe! The red Frizzante served chilled is gorgeous, as was the white wine we had too. So glad we booked and will be back soon. This photo shows only a small sample of what we received and we’d already delved into this before taking it and enjoying the rest too much to take another. Thank you The Pizza yard keep up the good work.

first visit and will definitely be back. friendly and informative host, great vibe, background music was good and quiet enough to enjoy a conversation over, menu advice and recommendations were brilliant. started with the share platter which was lovely, highly recommend the arancini and bruschetta. great selection of pizzas and flavours which could be added to as well to create what we wanted. parking right next to the venue. already planning our return!

Went out for a few pre-birthday drinks and fancied a pizza. Not been to The Pizza Yard before. Will definitely be eating here again. It was packed and hadn’t booked, initially looked like we had a long wait but staff accommodated and juggled things round. We didn’t have a long wait for food and WOW, best pizza in Wakefield by a country mile. Staff and owner (chef) so friendly and inviting. 5 delicious

Myself and my partner visited a couple of months ago for his birthday. It truly was the best meal we have ever had! The waitresses were lovely, the owner was incredibly sweet. We were really taken care of. Definitely would advise to get family style, it was very good for the price! Today we travelled 45 minutes for the tiramisu alone. 100% worth it!

1st visit to the pizza yard which won’t be the last. Grazing platter to start was great value for money and very tasty Pizzas were all freshly made and tasted great too. Staff were very friendly and happy
